Electrician apprentices install, test, operate and maintain the most cutting-edge shipboard electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, machinery, electronics, inter-ship communications, fire control/weapons systems, testing and nuvlear plant work. Also, they complete a rigorous series of electrical theory courses to complement on-the-job training.
